This cabbage is bred for it's color, not taste.  While it is edible, it is bitter.  The leaves form a rosette shape with the outer leaves being green and the inside being shades of purple, pink or white.  This is a great showy addition to a flower bed.  Plant in rich, loamy, well drained soil in full sun.
