Red Twig Dogwood
-
Cornus sericea

The red twig dogwood is a great year round shrub. In the spring and summer it has green variegated leaves with white blossoms that turn into berries. In the fall and winter, when it loses its leaves, the twigs are a beautiful bright red. New stems have the brightest color so it is recommended to cut back the older twigs each year. Plant in well drained, moist soil.
