-

Varieties: ball's zucchini, crookneck, flying saucer, yellow straight neck. These are soft skin squash and will only last a few days after harvesting.  Ready 50-65 days after sowing.  Best tasting when young, even if only half grown.  Most summer squash varieties grow on upright plant. Suitable soil is well drained.  Consistent watering at soil level to avoid getting the leaves too wet.
