Day Lily

This perennial is easy to grow and care for; with long, sword shaped, green leaves.  Typically blooms mid summer, around July, in a variety of colors.  This plant will tolerate drought and grows well in dry to moist soil.  They will grow in the shade, but need sun to produce blooms.  Average mature size is 12"-36" tall and 24"-48" wide. Hardiness zone: 4-9
