Funckiana

Unlike most air plants, this is longer and more narrow rather than round in shape.  It is a long stem plant with needle like leaves that are pink at the tips.  It's recommended to mount the plant upside down so it curls up toward the light.  Water once a week by soaking face down for 10-20 minutes.  Shake off excess water.  This is a fast growing plant.  Place somewhere it will get bright, indirect sunlight.  It can be used in a terrarium, on a screen, on a shelf, or any bright spot in your home.  This plant grows without soil.  It absorbs water and nutrients from the air through its leaves.  Average size is 3"-5" long and 1" wide.
