This air plant is feathery and very light, almost white, and covered with trichomes (fine hair like outgrowths).  It naturally reflects sunlight so it needs to be placed in a very sunny spot.  It can go a long time without water and takes a long time to dry out. Do not dunk or soak it in water, but mist it every 2-3 weeks.  Average size is 3"-10" and are very slow growing.  This plant grows without soil.  It absorbs water and nutrients from the air through its leaves.  It can be set inside a terrarium, placed alone on a shelf, or used in screen or grid.
