Tomatoes

Tomatoes need 6-8 hours of sunshine a day.  If planted in the ground, water really well every few days, making sure the root ball is saturated.  If planting in containers, water thoroughly every day.  Early varieties: Chocolate Sprinkle (grape shaped); Summer Girl (round); Sun gold (cherry); Early Girl (round).Mid varieties:  Midnight snack (cherry shaped); Rapunzel (cherry); Roma (deep round oval); Super Sweet 100 (cherry); Sweet & Neat (cherry); Better Boy (flattened globe); Big Beef (beefsteak); Celebrity (flattened globe); Cherokee Carbon (beefsteak).  Late varieties: Yellow Pear (small pear shaped); Brandywine (beefsteak); Lemon Boy (round); Mortgage Lifter (beefsteak)
